We are delighted to announce that two networking events will take place this year before the Global Female Leaders summit 3rd – 5th of June, 2018 at the Hotel Adlon Kempinski Berlin, Germany. The journey starts outside of Germany and even outside of Europe on the east coast of the US in Boston. The networking event will take place on January 31st, 2018 at our premium partner State Street Global Advisor’s headquarters in Boston.
#1 City of Boston
The highlight in Boston will be the interactive panel discussion of four leading women sharing their thoughts on women’s social status.
On this panel we will welcome Roya Mahboob, GFL18 speaker and Afghan technology entrepreneur, who organised the Afghan girls Robotics team to join First Global, an international robotics competition. Ms Mahboob will be joined by Lori M. Heinel, Deputy Global Chief Investment Officer at State Street Global Advisors, Ellen Comberg, Chairwoman of the Advisory Board for Global Female Leaders, and Stephenie Foster, GFL17 speaker and former Senior Advisor in the US Secretary of State’s Office of Global Women’s Issues, in a fireside chat discussion where these leading women will discuss the work that is being done to advance the status of women and girls around the world.
#2 City of London
The second event will take place in London in cooperation with Chatham House, the Royal Institute for International Affairs. At this beautiful location, a panel discussion followed by a networking reception will take place on Februay, 28th 2018 from 6.20 to 7.30 pm.
In this panel discussion about “Responsible Business: Exploring the Role of Corporations and Leadership” we proudly present two GFL18 speakers Claudine Blamey, Head of Sustainable and Stewardship, The Crown Estate, and Martina Macpherson, President, Network for Sustainable Financial Markets, who will be joined by Justine Harris, Head of Corporate Transparency, Vodafone. Again, our Chairwoman Ellen Comberg will be on site of the event.
Please do let us know if you are interested in joining us in Boston or London. Both events are invitation only. The London event is restricted to corporate members of Chatham House but we have a limited number of seats available for interested parties who would like to get more information about the Global Female Leaders summit.
We are looking forward to continuing this lively and fruitful dialogue this year in Boston and London as well as in Berlin at the Global Female Leaders 2018 summit!
