Doris Honold has more than 25 years’ senior leadership experience in international financial markets, including as member of the executive board of Standard Chartered Bank.
In her executive career she served in Group Chief Operating Officer and Chief Risk Officer roles in Frankfurt, Tokyo, Singapore and London.
She is now applying her expertise in Finance, Risk and Change Management through Non-Executive Director and Advisory appointments with organizations focused on Climate Change and Sustainable Development.
Doris has also been appointed to the board of the newly formed Integrity Council for Voluntary Carbon Market which is a private sector-led initiative working to scale an effective and efficient voluntary carbon market to help meet the goals of the Paris Agreement.
Doris holds a German Diploma in Mathematics and Economics and Master Degree of Applied Mathematics from of the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, where she studied under a Fulbright Scholarship.
She was also awarded a Senior Fellowship under Harvard University’s Advanced Leadership Program.
