Enise Lauterbach is a medical doctor, who founded LEMOA medical in 2020. She is board-certified cardiologist, specialized in electrophysiology and heart failure treatment. Summer 2019, she decided to move out of clinical medicine and into digitization medicine. She took to founding a startup and developed two apps, one to facilitate secure communication in healthcare and a second to monitor and empower patients suffering from heart failure.

Her clinical interests and research focus on heart failure, prevention of cardiovascular disease, and gender gaps in cardiovascular disease in women. She is committed to patient-centered care and digital transformation in medicine.

She is a member of the Digital Transformation in Internal Medicine Commission of the German Society of Internal Medicine (DGIM), as well as a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of FeatureCloud and Medical Director at Tuomi.

2020, she was chosen as one of 100 women of the year by Focus magazine and in 2021, she was ranked in Handelsblatt as one of 100 women in Germany, who are driving the future forward and nominated by Business Insider Germany as one of 25 future makers in 2021.

She has received the prestigious Emotion Award in the category ‘female founder’ in 2020.
