Since November 2020 Marianne Janik has held the role of Area Vice President heading Microsoft Germany. Previously, for more than five years she was General Manager for Microsoft Switzerland. In this central executive role she drove continuous growth and successfully supported her customers in their innovation and transformation processes. During her leadership in Switzerland, she was also bringing the Microsoft Cloud with local data residency to Switzerland. The French born Doctor of Law has years of sales and leadership experience in various businesses and sectors at her command. Marianne Janik started her professional career at Daimler Benz ltd and EADS. In 2011 she joined Microsoft Germany where she was responsible for the public sector, education and healthcare as part of executive management. Marianne Janik is strongly committed to digital transformation, with a special focus on innovation, trust and education. Marianne Janik is a board member of Migros Genossenschaftsbund. She is also still a member of the Executive Committee of digitalswitzerland and ASUT. Marianne Janik is married with two children.
