Prof. Dr. Ulrike Ackermann, Political Scientist, Head of the John Stuart Mill Institute for Research on Freedom.

Prof. Dr. Ackermann is the only political scientist with the focus on freedom research in Germany. She studied sociology, political science, German philology, and psychology at Frankfurt University. In 2002 she launched and led the European Forum at the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of sciences. In 2008 she was appointed as professor to the chair of political science at the SRH University in Heidelberg with the main focus on freedom research and teaching and has founded and became the Head of the John Stuart Mill Institute in 2009. She is a renowned intellectual and busy in debates.
