Urmi Prasad Richardson is a global executive with 20+ years of experience in conception to realization of business plans and commercial operations, in the areas of biotechnology and healthcare.  She exhibits leadership experience in strategic planning, business development, product commercialization and new market expansion throughout EMEA, Asia, and South America.  Having studied and worked in over half a dozen countries, these experiences strengthen her ability to lead global and cross-functional project teams. Ms. Richardson has a deep understanding of Healthcare markets and driving sustainable growth in emerging markets, including change through policy and public affairs. She provides a proven track record in translating innovation into business results. As market and customer demands evolve, Ms. Richardson demonstrates reliable and visible leadership in transformational times, embracing cultural evolution to build alliances and mobilize partners for success.

Ms. Richardson is currently the Global Head of Healthcare at Linde Ag. Prior to joining Linde in early 2016, Ms. Richardson was VP International at Foundation Medicine for several years.  Previous roles have included senior positions in business development and strategy for Novartis, Immucor, Chiron and G.D. Searle.

Ms. Richardson has an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management, an MS in Biochemical Engineering from the University of Houston, and a BA in Biology and French from Rutgers University. She is fluent in English, French and Hindi, and can dabble at dinner parties in Spanish, German and Bengali.
