Judith joined Planted in early 2020 with a passion to drive innovation to develop healthy, sustainable products that reduce the footprint of the food value chain and bring moments of pleasure to consumers. She studied Food Science at ETH Zurich and the University of Singapore together with two of the founders and holds a Doctorate in Food Process Engineering from ETH Zurich, conducted in close industry collaboration. Judith is an expert in process engineering and clean-label product design and has filed several patent applications as part of her PhD. At Planted, she coaches product development, regulatory and IP as an Executive Board Member and represents Planted in the Swiss Protein Association as president. She loves to enjoy amazing food, enjoys spending time in nature and in supermarkets, is married and lives with her husband in Zurich.
